Summary:

The Business & Operations Planning Manager develops and enhances the overall sales operations framework, and solves for resource constraints to meet sales needs.

Works cross-functionally to revamp and shorten Sales & Operations planning, revamps and establishes internal and external reports and KPI’s. Develops and implements inventory optimization, supply chain optimization, develops and implements inventory reductions strategy(ies), as well as near just-in-time inventory (while ensuring key inventory and resources are hedged).

Develops, implements, and utilizes processes and tools to enable the sales life-cycle (orders, invoicing, opportunity assessment, field inventory management and other sales pipeline analytics and forecasting solutions). Reports and analyzes order pipeline, bookings, revenue forecasting, revenue reporting, sales productivity, and goal attainment. Maintains and enhances Sales and Inventory tracking systems (Anaplan, Unleashed, etc).

Who YOU are:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Knowledge of ERP Systems, Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Finance experience and an understanding of business and functions
  • Ability to interact closely and professionally with colleagues of various levels and functions within the organization
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills

What you’ll DO:

  • Sales & Operations Planning
    Revamp and shorten S&OP cycle
    Facilitate S&OP processes and reviews to determine demand forecast, net demand to sources of supply, in support of order fulfillment to customers
    Develop account and SKU level forecast processes to review sell-in and sell-through throughout the month. Identify gaps and opportunities and adjust appropriately.
    Ensure proper cross functional meeting cadence, including approvals
    Produce meaningful and actionable reporting, and KPI’s
    Ensure new products are incorporate in the cycle, as well as phase out of discontinued products
    Work cross functionally and collaboratively to attain set goals
  • Supply Chain
    Understand the complexity of the supply chain
    Be part of the optimization
    Maintain accurate and timely product information (i.e. lead times, unique factory exceptions, MOQ’s, costs, etc.)
  • Inventory
    Manage Planning & Material Control activities across the business
    Ensure accurate inventory at all locations, be responsible for optimal location inventory levels
    Manage appropriate levels of WIP inventory based on lead time
    Produce periodic timely meaningful actionable reports (i.e. overstock, understock, slow moving, etc.)
  • Systems
    Quickly learn and adopt inventory planning, production and tracking platforms
    Understand and optimize sales demand planning and inventory supply planning – Anaplan
    Ensure accuracy and data integrity for inventory on-hand, on-PO, in-transit, etc
    Other related special projects as needed
